Moving to the neighborhood? These resources were compiled to help you get settled in.

Trash collection

Charlotte Waste Services provides weekly trash collection on Mondays
•Place bins no later than 6 a.m. on collection day.
•Remove carts from the curb by midnight on the day of collection.
•Bag all garbage before placing in rollout cart.
•Place garbage within 6ft of the curb and with handle facing property.
•Do not block sidewalk

Recycling and Yard Waste

Solid Waste Services collects recycling on a biweekly schedule or you may drop off your recycling at a designated facility. The nearest recycling facility is the Hickory Grove Recycling and Yard Waste Center located at 8007 Pence Rd, Charlotte, NC 28215.

To set up service, call the Piedmont Gas Hotline at (800) 752-7504.

Before starting on a project, call 811 before you dig. When you call 811, the utility lines on your property will be marked, preventing you from damaging them. Projects that warrant a call to 811 include the installation of:
•Septic tanks and sewer lines
•Swimming pools
•Sprinkler systems and water lines
•Basketball goalposts or mailbox posts
•Fence and deck posts
•Trees and shrubs
•Mailboxes
